Building my own diy smart speaker

The past month I started a new project: build my own voice controlled smart speaker.

I started off using the housings from two old stainless steel LED lights that had broke down, the circuit boards from both lights got wet and stopped working. These housings where just the right size for me to slide them around a 10 centimeter PVC pipe, this way i can mount all the inside parts to the pipe and slide the stainless steel housing around the pipe to make it look very nice.

This is just the first version of my diy smart speaker, inside is a Raspberry Pi 3 with a microphone and a Class D amplifier with speaker. Unfortunatly in this setup I need two power adapters, I hope this will be just 1 adaptor in the next version.

For now i still have to decide on what software to use on the Pi, most of the software is not good for me because I want to be able to integrate it with my offline system.

See the pictures below and feel free to ask quiestions!
